Dr. Brian LeCompte
I was born in Pleasanton, California, when my Dad was stationed there while in the air force. We moved back to Southern Louisiana when I was less than a year old and grew up in Acadiana. I went to Catholic High School in New Iberia, Louisiana. I graduated valedictorian of my class and went on the University of Southwestern Louisiana in Lafayette. There I earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and Chemistry in 3 years finishing magna cum laude.
I attended the medical school Louisiana State University in Shreveport, Louisiana. After graduation, four years later, I crossed the Sabine River to do my internship and residency at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas. I trained first in General Surgery and then in Plastic and Reconstructive and Maxillofacial Surgery. It was there that I met my wife of 34 years, Jean. She was a Recovery Room nurse and I was a surgeon and the rest is history.
After finishing at UTMB, I practiced my craft, but something was missing. As an intern, I read all that was written about Edgar Cayce, the Sleeping Prophet. People would write in asking for readings about medical conditions. He would describe their surroundings, the room where they were and he would say “and we have the body”. He would then proceed to describe and diagnose their medical condition and prescribe treatment. Usually, he prescribed dietary changes and spinal manipulation. In the 1920’s and 30s’ this was a pretty novel concept. I was hooked. He believed disease could be treated with nutrition, diet and adjustment of the subtle energy flow in the body! I never looked back.
I had the chance to work with a very prominent Alternative and Integrative Physician in Anchorage, Alaska where I learned about ozone and its use in medicine. It is the most powerful anti-microbial on the planet. I also learned about how the teeth can affect every organ in the body due to the acupuncture meridians on which they sit.
Since then, I have walked the path of finding the cause of disease and treating the cause with diet, nutrition, and God’s pharmacy, natural medicine. I integrate my experience with both alternative and traditional medicine. I have learned that there are no incurable diseases.
