Recent statistics show that 30% of adults, and up to 40% of children in the U.S. suffer from some form of allergy. Allergy symptoms are responsible for more visits to the doctor’s office than any other disease in this country. Texas has been voted to be one of the worst areas to live in the United States for person with allergies. People who have had no previous problems with allergies often develop symptoms upon moving to the metroplex.

Allergic symptoms frequently include congestion, itchy nose, post-nasal drip, sneezing, recurrent ear infections, and itchy watery eyes. Hives and itching skin can also be caused by allergies. Additional symptoms might include headaches, hyperactivity in children, fatigue and depression.
